Winter Shutdown Dates
- Our plant will shut down Friday, December 22, 2023 through Monday, January 1, 2024
- Friday, December 22nd will utilized for inventory purposes
The last day of production is planned for Thursday, December 21, 2023 (end with 2nd shift)

Success Story
Hello, my name is Kelly Wright, I am a former Ōnin employee.
I started working at Mercedes in October of 2019 and this month marks my 4-year anniversary with Mercedes. I was very nervous about coming to work here because I have a hearing disability. I am completely deaf in one ear and partially deaf in the other. I became sick many years ago and the medicine that helped save my life also took my hearing and my ability to walk. I have fought hard to be where I am today. Although I am still partially deaf, I did regain my ability to walk. I tell you this because my fear of failure almost prevented me from applying. I am so thankful that I pushed myself to try for more.
I started working in Engine pre-assembly and set a goal for myself to become a quality inspector, I started working in quality for a year and half and from there I went on to become deputy to the team lead and the multiplier for second shift quality. I am now a quality gate inspector for the new e-sprinter vans. It has been a remarkable journey for me as I still have much to accomplish. I hope my story resonates with you and encourages you to set goals for yourself, and that you may also find your home within Mercedes.
