Summer Shutdown

ATTENTION TEAMMATES: Shutdown will go from 6/29 – 7/4. Please follow-up with your Onin Rep to be assured what days are covered for pay and which days are not covered. If you have volunteered for overtime during these shutdown days please continue to fill out your overtime sheet.

ATTENTION TEAMMATES: We will have a check-in on 7/3, which is mandatory. One of your Onin Reps. will need to speak with you via phone to go over which days are paid and which ones are not and to re-confirm rather you did overtime doing the week. This check-in will clear attendance to be pushed through for you. Please be safe and we will see you all soon!

Taleo Link

ATTENTION TEAMMATES: We are currently working with MBV to get a new Taleo Link created. Keep in mind teammates we will be sending it out to you before you hit 12 months. However you can also reference the newsletter, because it will be updated here as well. Our 7/7/25 class is getting close to their 12 month mark . Please take the time out to motivate them as they finish strong and stay encouraged that your time is coming.

ATTENTION: Ōnin will now conduct all hands-on training for potential teammates at the training facility in the Assembly building. Please remain professional and lead by example as these potential teammates try their best to be a part of our growing team.

Do You Know the Meaning of 5S?

To refresh your memory, here’s a quick review of the 5S process.

Sort – involves sorting through the contents of an area and removing unnecessary items.

Set – involves arranging necessary items to provide easy and efficient access and keeping them that way.

Shine – involves cleaning everything, keeping it clean, and using cleaning as a way to ensure that your area and equipment is maintained as it should be.

Standardization – involves creating guidelines for keeping the area organized, orderly, and clean and making the standards visual and obvious.

Sustain – involves education and communication to ensure that everyone stays disciplined to the 5S standards.

Attendance Bonus!

Over 70 Percent of teammates received the attendance bonus last month!! This means almost all of you are showing up and showing out. Please continue to do a great job and take the time out to pat yourselves on the back.

Please remember, eligible full-time, hourly Onin Team Members will be eligible for a perfect attendance bonus monthly just for showing up to work!!

Kiosk

WE now have a kiosk set up in Assembly by the TRR’s desk. Please feel free to utilize it to print check stubs, print W2’s and even check out this month’s newsletter!

Thank you everyone for keeping it clean this far. New teammates, next to the kiosk are sanitized wipes, after using the kiosk please take the time out to wipe off the keyboard and mouse to leave a clean area for whoever may need to utilize it after you.Z

Teammates Please Remember…

  • Personal Cell Phones are NOT permitted on the line or in production areas.

  • Long hair must be pulled back and controlled to prevent machine entanglement.

  • Nylon/Polyester is prohibited in production areas.

  • Rings/Watches/Jewelry must be removed before entering production areas.

  • Exposed metal is not permissible on any of the shop floors.

  • Ōnin teamwear must be visible at all times while at MBV. 

  • PPE is required at all times on the floor.

  • NEVER enter/exit through the roll-up doors; always enter/exit through the authorized personnel doors. – Fenced areas demark areas of automation and can only be entered by authorized personnel.

  •  Recording devices of any kind are strictly prohibited within the facility.

  • Weapons of any type (concealed or otherwise) are strictly prohibited on MBV property
