The Onsite Supervisor role will be based at a client site. This position is the liaison between the client, our teammates, and the Ōnin Staffing branch. In coordination with either an Onsite Manager and/or a Branch Manager, the Onsite Supervisor will ensure all service objectives are met. This role will report at second shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervision and Workforce Management:
Supervise and manage the onsite workforce, including daily check-ins, attendance tracking, and scheduling to meet client needs.
Oversee the check-in process and end-of-shift paperwork.
Manage time clock punches per shift to ensure accurate timekeeping.
Client and Team Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing their staffing requirements and promptly resolving any issues, escalating to high management if necessary.
Build and maintain relationships with teammates and clients to foster a productive work environment and ensure client satisfaction.
Compliance and Safety Responsibilities:
Ensure all employees comply with company policies, client site rules, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.
Performance Evaluation and Development:
Evaluate employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
Support employee development through coaching, training, and mentoring initiatives.
Administrative and Reporting Duties:
Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, performance, and other relevant data.
Generate regular reports for both The Onin Group and the client to track operational metrics and compliance.
Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, filing paperwork, ensuring adequate supplies, and producing badges.
Perform any other tasks assigned by Management to support operational needs.
Onboarding and Training:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations and providing necessary training.
Effectively recruit and build pipelines with our teammates via phone, text, email, social media and in-person.
Proactively develop creative sourcing plans to attract top talent using job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
Physical and Communication Requirements:
Proficient use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and other communication devices.
Ability to travel as needed, including driving or flying, to meet with clients, attend conferences, and visit other business locations.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings, presentations, and desk work.
Ability to read and analyze written information and data on a computer screen.
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively during in-person meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences.
Occasionally required to carry and lift materials such as laptops, presentation equipment, and promotional materials, typically up to 50 pounds.
PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in staffing, human resources, or supervisory roles within a related field.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

Agility to leverage all processes and technology tools productively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and other relevant software applications.
Strong understanding of the light industrial sector (manufacturing, warehousing, logistics).
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in the staffing industry.
