POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Business Partner will join our People & Culture team. This individual will report directly to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, and will collaborate with both Home Office and Field Ōninites. The TA Business Partner will help implement HR programs, provide feedback and monitor the performance of programs applicable, but not limited to: talent acquisition and management (primary focus), benefits, employee relations, legal, people compliance, systems, and data. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will be the master communicator between the field and Home Office, People & Culture team. The individual will exemplify Ōnin’s Core Values and assist in creating, developing, and encouraging a thriving organizational culture.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Execute the talent acquisition recruitment strategy, focusing on recruiting A-player candidates and managing the talent lifecycle across the organization.
Recruit both passive and active A-player candidates for Leadership, Sales, and niche Home Office roles to ensure top talent acquisition.
Onboarding & Employee Integration
Collaborate with field leaders to ensure the seamless integration of new employees into the organization.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and implement onboarding processes in alignment with the Employee Experience Handbook.
HR Operations & Compliance
Assist in human resource operations, facilitating team communication, assisting with employee issue resolution and maintaining cost-effective HR functions.
Ensure adherence to all HR procedures and compliance with federal and state policies.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
Actively participate in change and improvement initiatives, contributing insights on internal and external HR challenges to drive organizational growth.
Compliance & Legal Requirements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations, and other employment laws related to staffing and workplace accommodations.
Promote non-discriminatory practices in hiring, scheduling, and other staffing operations to maintain an inclusive and legally compliant work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Five plus years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a Related Field preferred

Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively in meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences.
Participate in regular meetings to align strategies and objectives with internal and external teams.

Ability to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships.
Strong leadership mentality.

Communicate effectively in-person, over the phone, and via virtual conferences.
Use office equipment, including computers, client databases, mobile devices, and other communication tools, to perform job functions effectively while handling proprietary situations and managing sensitive and secure data with the utmost confidentiality and compliance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and other communication devices.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings, presentations, and desk work, and occasionally carry and lift materials up to 50 pounds.
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively during in-person meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences as well as read and analyze written information and data on a computer screen.
